The tv network positioning itself as Boomer headquarters landed the former President for a celebrity appearance at its upfront network presentation in New York this week. Turns out the Boomer-in-chief is a big fan of the nostalgia fare TV Land peddles (what a shock!). According to The Hollywood Reporter, Clinton’s favorite shows include All in the Family, I Love Lucy, The Andy Griffith Show and Bonanza. He watches all this old, uh, stuff at night while working on a coming book on citizen activism:

“As you know, my wife is away, so I’m home alone a lot,” Clinton said of Sen. Hillary Clinton, who is running for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2008. “I’m particularly grateful to TV Land for giving me something to do at night.”

No comment here on that one.
