ABC News thinks Madison Avenue gets it
April 28th, 2007ABC News carried a story yesterday proclaiming that marketers are finally waking up to the
spending power of the Boomer market. The report focuses on the buying power of women, and mentions the fashion, cosmetics and financial services industries as lead players in 50+ marketing. Nothing new here; let’s hope they’re right.

I saw the same report and had great skepticism that Mad. Avenue will wake up. For at least two decades they have been saying that once you reach 40 your brands are set for the rest of your life.
Therefore I loved the comment that this GENERATION has no brand loyalty.
So for twenty years Mad. Ave. has been wrong.
