Beginning next month, my byline will appear on Retire Smart, a weekly column syndicated in more than 30 newspapers and websites around the U.S. The column, which is distributed by Tribune Media Services, was invented and written by journalists Humberto and Georgina Cruz. After writing Retire Smart for the past seven years, they’ve decided to move on to new projects. For me, Retire Smart is a great opportunity to address a large consumer audience about topics related to the new definitions of retirement coming into view for the Boomer generation. The column is distributed in newspapers with circulation well over 2.2 million and also reaches large number of online readers. I’m planning to continue blogging here at 50+Digital on business trends in the 50+ market, and plan to launch a consumer-oriented companion website for the column early in the new year.
